AWAKENING chronicles the experience of a Johns Hopkins University boy named Kyle, from his humble and emotional beginnings as an English/Writing Seminars double major, to his great AWAKENING when he discovers Mechanical Engineering. The film showcases the JHU Mechanical Engineering Department from the engaging classroom experiences to the many ad-on opportunities available. Kyle becomes involved in such activities as the BAJA-SAE all-terrain vehicle and senior design projects, while maintaining good grades and finding a girlfriend. The film ends as Kyle is accepted to graduate school and prepares to embark on the next phase of his engineering adventure!
