Leslye James Reaves is a filmmaker and multimedia artist from Maryland, now living in Norfolk, VA. 

Leslye studied film at Howard University and received a Master's in Multimedia from California State University, Hayward. She has taught classes in computer art, digital video production and web site design, and started a multimedia production company, reflection:digital in 2003.

Her work has been shown at the Women of Color Film Festival in Berkeley, CA, at exhibitions by the Film Arts Foundation in San Francisco, CA, at the DC Arts Center, in Washington, DC and throughout web. Currently, she is working on a number of film and media projects including a documentary on the website community Okayplayer.com.
