Description

Workshop focuses on recording interviews, oral histories and music using portable recording equipment.  We will discuss the selection and use of microphones and portable recording equipment.

Description

Students will learn advanced audio topics like creating drum loops, sequencers, audio processing, mixing, and software synthesizers using Propellerhead's Reason and Abelton Live to assist in the making and mixing of their own music.

Overview of the music making and editing tools in the DMC lab and the audio studio. Students will learn how to use Garage Band, Digital Performer and Peak audio editing programs.
